Guided Kayak/Paddleboard (SUP) Tours

Your kayak trip will explore the marshes of Skull Creek. An educational Lowcountry experience learning and working with the tides, oysters, and wildlife including dolphins, birds, and anything else we might see on the water. An eco-friendly experience for all ages. Tours out of the Rowing and Sailing Center

Ages 12 and up can go in their own boat. Two double and five single kayaks are available. Stand Up Paddleboards are also available.

Tours are guided by Low Country Master Naturalists with over 20 years of kayak experience.

Guided Kayak Fishing

Available for ages 12 and older. Tours are on Thursdays/Saturdays (view times on the registration website) and are located at the Rowing and Sailing Center.

Join us for an unforgettable kayak fishing experience in the serene waters of Skull Creek. Guided by a local and experienced angler, you'll have the opportunity to fish for Redfish, Black Drum, Trout, and more. The types of fish you catch will vary depending on the season, ensuring a unique adventure every time.

This excursion is perfect for all skill levels and offers a fantastic way to get up close and personal with our local marine life. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a first-time fisher, you'll enjoy the thrill of the catch and the beauty of the surrounding nature. Our Kayak fishing excursions include your guide, bait, tackle, and kayak rental. We recommend clothing appropriate for water activities, and bringing water, snacks, and sunscreen.

Led by Outdoor Rec Staff. Local and Experienced Fishermen and Paddlers

Cost: $120, cost includes guide, bait, tackle, and kayak rental.

**For this program, you will need a valid SC Saltwater Fishing License. A 1-Day Non-Resident License is $10 and a 7-Day Non-Resident License is $35. You can obtain this immediately by calling 866-714-3611.
