Once the season starts in July, practices will be T, W, Th and games on Saturdays.
Practices take place at Barker Field. Home games will be played at HHIHS stadium. The Gator football program will return to tradition in 2025. This youth contact program has been on Hilton Head Island since 1969. With our return, we will be going back to our traditional colors (green and yellow). In addition to developing football skills and techniques there will be a strong focus on teaching sportsmanship, teamwork, and life skills. Many coaches with varying levels of playing and coaching experience will help guide these young men.
Please bring/wear: Cleats, practice pants and shirt. The program will provide all game day wear (ie jersey, pants, helmet, shoulder pad).

An introduction to the sport of Volleyball! participants will learn all the basic skills of the sport including passing, setting, spiking, and serving. Participants will also learn the rules of the game and how to play and be given plenty of opportunity to learn through playing!
Sessions will be led by Island Rec Athletics Superintendent Chuck Mullen, who has a 20 year background in coaching volleyball at the college level.

Come be part of the largest and premier Island Recreation program offered! Participants will be placed on teams in their age division and with a coach. Coaches decide on their practice day and times during the week and communicate that with their team. There is a 7 week regular season and followed by a 1 week playoff tournament that every team 1st grade and up participates in. Island Rec Athletics staff governs the program and volunteer coaches assist with the teams they coach
Program is led by Volunteer coaches who enjoy the aspects of coaching and the sport of soccer. They can request 1 player outside of their own child for their team. Requests outside of that may be made, but are not guaranteed in the interest of creating balanced teams and fair competition.
Please bring/wear: shin guards and non-metal cleated soccer shoes
Practices will be held during the week scheduled by coaches between 4-7pm
Pre K/K games are on Friday evenings at Crossings Park

Our introduction to the beautiful game! The Future Stars program is the first chance to learn the basic skill of the sport. Participants will learn foot control on the ball, and go through skill stations of shooting, passing, dribbling and throw-ins. Live play will also be incorporated. This is not a league, there are no full games or pre-made teams. Participants are there to learn the skill and incorporated them in modified game play each week.
Program is led by Island Rec Athletics Staff members and any interested volunteer coaches who would like to help teach skills.
Please bring/wear: shin guards and cleated soccer shoes

Fitness Classroom 2 | $130
New students must pay for a uniform. Through this program, you will learn self-confidence, a mixture of cardiovascular endurance, strength training, and flexibility exercises. This will improve reflexes and coordination while increasing strength and stamina. Overall fitness will be achieved.

Participants will practice 10/23 from 4 to 5:30 at Hilton Head Island High School. Arrive by 6:30 pm 10/25. Participants will then perform with the cheer and dance team at the pre-game show.
10/23 practice from 4:00 to 5:30 pm - Participants will learn cheers and pom dance to perform on Friday Night.
10/25 6:30 to 7:30 pm - Participants will perform pre-game with the cheer and dance team.
Led by Seahawk Cheer Head Coach, Annette Lee. She has been Head Coach for 14 years.

Organized gameplay. 3 v 3, 4 v 4 and 5 v 5. Participants will be placed on a team and play competitive games for an hour.
Jesse Eddy, Hilton Head native, and local basketball standout played at Armstrong Atlantic State University before going on to the European summer league. As a starting point guard, he led his team to a championship before returning to his home here on Hilton Head to work with developing players. Jesse uses his background in biology, physical therapy, and personal training and his deep passion for and knowledge of the game of basketball to train the next generation of athletes into the best players they can be.

He has held basketball clinics and coaching events in Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Greece to name a few. He knows how to maximize basketball players potential and teach the fundamentals and skills that can make you successful.

Hilton Head High School "Swamp" field
Introductory instructional Lacrosse skills clinic that introduces the sport to beginners. This 8-week program will start September 12 and run thru November 7 (taking Halloween weekend off).
Originally from Savannah, Georgia, he began his lacrosse career with the Coastal Empire String in 2010 and then transitioned into high school playing his freshman year with Savannah Lacrosse. He continued out the rest of his high school years at Benedictine Military School, being a part of two state championships, awarded most valuable midfielder, senior team captain, and #10 recipient. He also played for Team Palmetto, based out of South Carolina, for four years under Coach Scott Sharp, Dennis Daly, and Rich Thomas. After high school, he played four years of Dl lacrosse at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. Coach Dustin now resides in Savannah where he is the Director of Scoops Lacrosse GA/SC, a youth developmental lacrosse program, and the Field Director for Coastal Empire Lacrosse. He also continues to be a community coach at many high schools throughout the area.
